On the June 25th, 2017 group members and friends met up for a barbecue at the Birsköpfli park along the Rhine river. There was food, beer, music, swimming, games, and good vibes. Thanks to everyone for a fun time in the sun!

Nanowires as Scanning Force Sensors
A new type of atomic force microscope (AFM) uses nanowires as tiny sensors. Unlike standard AFM, the device with a nanowire sensor enables measurements of both the size and direction of forces.
