Recent progress in force-detected MRI

Prof. Poggio gave an invited talk at the Black Forest Focus on Soft Matter 6: “Magnetic Resoance Microsystems” conference near Freiburg, Germany. The workshop took place from the 26th to the 29th of July, 2011 and focused on miniturazation issues of magnetic resonance equipment and experiments. Talk (video).

  • Nanowires as Scanning Force Sensors

    A new type of atomic force microscope (AFM) uses nanowires as tiny sensors. Unlike standard AFM, the device with a nanowire sensor enables measurements of both the size and direction of forces.

    On the afternoon of Thursday the 25.11.2021, the group took some time to go karting.
