Talk at 5th NanoMRI Conference

In July 2015, Prof. Poggio gave a talk at the 5th Nanometer-scale Magnetic Resonance Imaging (NanoMRI) Conference at the University of Waterloo in Canada. The talk was entitled, “Measuring nanometer­‐scale spin systems by ultrasensitive cantilever magnetometry”.  Talk (video).

  • Nanowires as Scanning Force Sensors

    A new type of atomic force microscope (AFM) uses nanowires as tiny sensors. Unlike standard AFM, the device with a nanowire sensor enables measurements of both the size and direction of forces.
